Bitcoin Core web developer Peter Todd, whom HBO identified in a documentary as the real HBO documentary reveals Satoshi Nakamoto's identity and names crypto developer Peter Todd as the father of bitcoin, but he denies it, tweeted that if he had a million bitcoins, Ukraine would have many more drones.
What it's about
On 8 October, HBO released the documentaryMoney Electric: The Bitcoin Mystery, in which its authors tried to find the answer to the question of who Satoshi Nakamoto is. He is a legend of the entire cryptocurrency world (it is not even known whether he is an individual or a collective) who created bitcoin and disappeared from the information space after 2010. It is believed that he owns a million bitcoins (at the current exchange rate, this is $63 billion).
The HBO film provides evidence that the person behind Satoshi Nakomoto is Peter Todd, a man who is quite well known in the cryptocurrency world as a software developer and one of the key figures in the cryptocurrency industry. He is one of the leading developers and researchers in the field. All the evidence provided by the film's authors is based on a screenshot of a public discussion on the Internet, when Peter Todd left a comment under Satoshi Nakamoto's post. And as if this proves that Todd did it because he forgot to log in as Satoshi Nakomoto.

If I had 1 million BTC Ukraine would have a hell of a lot more drones...

Is it true
The majority of the community considers the assumptions from the HBO film to be nonsense, and in fact, several people are among the "circle of suspects". In particular,Len Sassaman. He was involved in the development of PGP (Pretty Good Privacy), an encryption software used to protect email and other types of digital communications. He was also the administrator of Mixmaster, an anonymous email system that used cryptography to ensure the anonymity of senders. Sassaman was a prominent cryptographer, programmer, and researcher in the field of security and privacy. He made significant contributions to the development of digital technology and the Internet privacy movement. Sassaman was known for his efforts to promote anonymity in communication networks and worked on projects that helped protect users' personal data. He died in 2011 at the age of 31.

Another candidate for the role of Satoshi Nakamoto isHal Finney. He is an American software developer, cryptographer, and digital currency pioneer. He was one of the first key figures in the development of the bitcoin cryptocurrency and has a significant influence on the formation of cryptography as a science. Finney is best known for his role in the development of bitcoin. He was one of the first people to actively support the idea of cryptocurrency proposed by Satoshi Nakamoto. Moreover, Hal received the first bitcoin transaction from Nakamoto in January 2009, becoming part of the history of this technology. Gaul Finney suffered from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and passed away in 2014, but his contribution to the development of cryptocurrencies and cryptography is still highly valued in the industry.
