Google's new feature will allow you to read recipes without going directly to websites

Google continues to improve its search capabilities and this time is testing a feature that allows users to view full recipes right in the search results without having to navigate to websites.

Here's What We Know

The new option called Quick View provides access to ingredients, photos and step-by-step instructions without having to navigate to third-party sites. However, at the moment, the feature is only available to certain bloggers that Google has agreements with, so the Quick View button will only be active on supported pages.

This initiative is part of Google's broader strategy to retain users on its platforms. The company has previously introduced AI Overviews, which extract information from websites and generate responses using artificial intelligence. Now Google is looking to simplify access to cookery recipes by eliminating the need to scroll through long blog posts.

Although the new feature is still in the testing phase, it is already raising questions among content creators who could lose traffic to their sites. However, for users, it means more convenient and faster access to the information they need.
