Oppo has unveiled the K12 Plus smartphone in China with a powerful 6400 mAh battery and Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip

Oppo has announced a new smartphone in China, the Oppo K12 Plus, which stands out for its large 6400 mAh battery.

What is known

This battery supports 80W fast wired charging and can power other devices thanks to 10W reverse charging. Oppo also offers a 4-year warranty on this battery.

The smartphone features a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and a 6.7-inch flat AMOLED display with a resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. A PWM frequency of 2160Hz is used to reduce eye strain.

The main camera of the Oppo K12 Plus includes a 50-megapixel Sony sensor with optical image stabilisation, and an ultra-wide-angle lens with a 112° viewing angle. The smartphone will be available in three configurations: 8/256GB for $255, 12/256GB for $300, and 12/512GB for $355. Pre-orders for the smartphone are already open and the actual sales will start from 15 October.
