Xiaomi Pad 7 series will receive LCD screens instead of OLED

Xiaomi will soon unveil a new series of Xiaomi Pad 7 tablets, which will include two models, Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro. The leaked information that appeared on the network indicates some key characteristics of these devices.

Here's What We Know

Both tablets will have an 11.16-inch LCD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, which refutes previous speculation about an OLED display for the Pad 7 Pro. In terms of processors, the Pad 7 will be powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, while the Pad 7 Pro will get the more powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. The charging speed will be 45W for the Pad 7 and 67W for the Pad 7 Pro.

The operating system will be HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15, and both devices will have a 10,000 mAh battery and a side fingerprint sensor for security. It is not known whether there will be 5G support, but there is WiFi 7 and a USB Type-C 3.2 port.

The official release date has not yet been announced.
