DJI releases Air 3S drone with dual camera, LiDAR and safe night flight function for $1099

DJI has introduced the new DJI Air 3S. This dual-camera drone with improved security features is designed for travellers and professionals. The manufacturer promises to significantly improve aerial photography, especially in low light conditions.

Here's What We Know

The Air 3S is equipped with a 1-inch CMOS camera, a 70mm TV camera, and 42GB of internal storage. The 50MP main camera with 4K/60fps HDR and 4K/120fps video capture ensures excellent image quality even in low light.

The telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom is perfect for portraits and close-ups.

It also features advanced obstacle detection with LiDAR and infrared sensors, allowing you to fly safely even in the dark. There is also a new Smart RTH system that returns the drone to the take-off point, even without GPS or at night.

Initial reviews have recognised the Air 3S as a versatile and high-performance drone, especially for those looking for a feature-rich model at an affordable price.

The Air 3S is also equipped with a battery that provides up to 45 minutes of flight time from a 4276 mAh battery and supports video streaming up to 20 km away.

The base model is priced at US$1,099, and for those who want more, there are Fly More options with additional accessories.
