Video of the day: Ukrainian tank hits Russian APC at close range (updated)

Ukrainian journalist Yuriy Butusov posted a video on his telegram channel showing a Ukrainian tank shooting at a Russian BTR-82A at close range. The video, according to the journalist, was sent by one of his channel's subscribers and shows tankers from the 17th Separate Tank Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Apparently, the Russians were confident that they had their tanks ahead of them, so they were confidently approaching. At the same time, the Ukrainian tankers probably did not open fire until they were sure of the tactical signs on board the enemy armoured personnel carrier," Israeli military analyst Yigal Levin commented on the video in his Telegram channel.

Updated: The tank belongs to the 225th Separate Assault Brigade, while the Russian armoured personnel carrier belonged to the 810th Marine Brigade of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. This was reported by journalist Andriy Tsaplienko. The events took place in the Kursk sector.
