It's official: Lake House's addition to Alan Wake 2 about the Federal Bureau of Investigation will be released on 22 October

We wrote that the Lake House expansion pack for Alan Wake 2 was rumoured to be released simultaneously with the disc version of the game on 22 October. And it turned out to be true.

Here's What We Know

Remedy showed a trailer for the game at Xbox Partner Preview. We will play as agent Estevez. The trailer also revealed that the expansion will include new weapons and enemies, including characters from the Control series.

The expansion will focus on the Federal Bureau of Control, where we were in Control and saw the bureau in Alan Wake 2.

Lake House is a mysterious facility located on the shores of Lake Cauldron, created by an independent government organisation to conduct secret research. Players will have to explore this place and embark on two separate adventures as the realities of the Anderson Saga and Alan Wake collide again.

In order to get the expansion pack, you need to purchase a physical copy of the game or upgrade to the Deluxe edition of Alan Wake 2.
