Xiaomi Redmi A4 5G: The first smartphone on Snapdragon 4s Gen 2

Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi A4 5G, the first smartphone equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chipset.

This new device will be available for a moderate price, which in India will be around Rs 9,000-10,000, roughly $107 to $119.

The Redmi A4 5G will be the successor to the A3 and A3x models that debuted earlier this year. The new smartphone features 5G connectivity, an Adreno 619L GPU and an octa-core CPU, two of which are designed for enhanced performance.

The gadget is also equipped with a 5000 mAh battery, a 50 MP rear camera and an 8 MP selfie camera.

The Redmi A4 5G will feature a large 6.8-inch 720p LCD display, although details of its specifications remain unknown.

Xiaomi is offering a wide range of colours for the new product, but the release date has not yet been confirmed.
