Sea of Thieves launches Season 14 with new weapons and improved stealth mechanics
Sea of Thieves has already released its 14th season, which features new weapons and improvements for the often overlooked element of the game - stealth. In general, to get an idea of the content in the season, watch the trailer:
Here's What We Know
Probably the biggest update is the Blowpipe, a near-silent weapon designed to put enemies, including other players, to sleep, making them easier to loot later. Players can also use explosives or decoy darts to distract or destroy enemies.
Additionally, the new Grapple Gun allows players to pull enemies and objects closer or use it as a tool for movement, which is especially useful when descending from a height.
Stealth mechanics have also received significant updates: crouching is now quieter and hides your badge, and new disguises such as chests allow you to sneak up on enemies more strategically. Players can set traps using fireworks, cursed cannonballs, and other explosive items.
Along with these changes, there are also new Thanksgivings and cosmetics, including some spooky options like the Coral Coven set.
Where To Play
Sea of Thieves is available to play on Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Windows.
