The Penguin Could Fly: the fifth episode about the Batman villain garnered 1.8 million viewers in the US on the day of its release

We wrote that the fifth episode of the Penguin series in the Batman universe was released. And the new episode set another record, which proves its popularity and love among viewers.

Here's What We Know

The fifth episode averaged 1.8 million viewers in the US across multiple platforms, the strongest one-day performance of any series in the US this year.

The previous series, by comparison, attracted 1.7 million viewers on its first day.

Meanwhile, the first episode has already attracted over 14 million viewers. So we have one of the best series of the year so far.

We would like to remind you that Penguin is played by the brilliant Colin Farrell. The actor has already played the villain in Batman (2022).

The series begins immediately after the end of Batman and will show how Oz Cobb expands his influence on Gotham and becomes an even greater criminal authority in the city.

The Penguin will have 8 episodes, which will be released weekly. Lauren LeFranc is the writer and showrunner. Batman director Matt Reeves is executive producing.
