BOOX has unveiled the new Palma 2 e-book, which features a fingerprint scanner and an improved 8-core processor.

Here's What We Know

The Palma 2 is an Android 13 device with a 6.13-inch black and white Carta 1200 display with a resolution of 824 x 1649 pixels, with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage. To increase the storage, the Palma 2 can be fitted with a microSD.

The E-book is equipped with a 3950 mAh battery, a 16MP camera, two microphones and speakers.

Thanks to a new chip and BOOX Super Refresh (BSR) technology, the new reader is much faster.

The manufacturer claims that Palma 2, in addition to comfortable reading, can be used as an audio player and document scanner and supports 20 formats, including PDF, TXT, DOC and EPUB.

The Palma 2 is priced at $279.
