Honor announces Magic7 with AI Defocus Eye Protection technology for 30 October in new teaser (video)
On 30 October, Honor will unveil its flagship Magic7 series, and the brand is already intriguing potential users with a new video teaser for the Magic7 model in Chaoha Gold.
Here's What We Know
The presentation is hosted by Chinese actress and singer Zhu Zhu, the new ambassador of Honor's art aesthetics. The brand notes that this shade symbolises the "beauty of morning light".
In addition to aesthetics, Honor confirmed the use of AI Defocus Eye Protection technology in its new devices. This innovation simulates the defocusing of glasses on the display, which helps to control peripheral vision and maintain the clarity of central vision.
Honor claims that the technology reduces temporary myopia by an average of 13° after 25 minutes of reading, and some users have even reported a reduction of up to 75°.
The Magic7 and Magic7 Pro screens will also feature 4320Hz PWM dimming and hardware blue light reduction. The brightness, colour temperature and contrast of the screen will be adjusted by artificial intelligence in real time, depending on your habits and context of use.
