The press service of the Gart Brigade showed a video in which soldiers of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine told how the Canadian-made Roshel armoured vehicle saved their lives.

Here's What We Know

The brigade notes that the armoured vehicle, which the soldiers call Roshel, is an indispensable assistant in performing combat missions in the Volchansk sector. It is used to transport soldiers to and from their positions, as well as to evacuate wounded comrades.

Roshelka is driven by ordinary guys, for example, before mobilisation, one worked as a freight forwarder and the other as a teacher of computer science and labour training. The driver explained that despite the weight and size of the vehicle, it is easy to drive, especially if you have experience in driving large vehicles.

The powerful engine allows for fast movement, but rough terrain can cause the shock absorbers to break, which are fortunately easy to replace.

A border guard with the pseudonym "Sensei" said that the vehicle's windscreen had withstood a direct hit from an enemy FPV drone.

By the way, we wrote earlier that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Ukraine has received about 1400 Roshel Senator armoured vehicles.
