"Starfield 2 will be the best game ever," says former Bethesda employee

Starfield has its fans, but it hasn't achieved the impact that is usually expected from Bethesda Game Studios, known for Fallout and Elder Scrolls. However, former Bethesda designer Bruce Nesmith is optimistic about Starfield 2, calling it "one of the best games ever made".

In an interview with VideoGamer, Nesmith, who left Bethesda in 2021, compared Starfield's potential to how Skyrim benefited from being based on Morrowind and Oblivion. He believes that Starfield 2 will take into account feedback and bring improvements without starting from scratch.

Nesmith also noted that franchises such as Dragon Age and Assassin's Creed also needed sequels to build on their strengths after their first releases.
