Apple has announced an update for the Mac Pro, which now comes with new accessories. Instead of the usual USB-C to Lightning cable, users get a USB-C to USB-C charging cable.

In addition, new versions of the Magic Mouse and Magic Keyboard accessories have been added to the bundle, which also support USB-C.

The changes only affect the accessories and cable, and the Mac Pro itself remains unchanged. This version of the computer, which runs on the M2 Ultra chip, was introduced in June 2023 and has a starting price of $5999 in the US.

In addition, Apple also released USB-C accessories, such as the Magic Trackpad, as part of the presentation of the new iMac with the M4 chip. The accessories are available in white and black as separate products.
