Google starts selling refurbished Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 phones
Google Store is restoring the Refurbished section, which has been empty for several years, and introducing a "Certified Phone Refurbishment Programme" for Pixel 6 and later models in the US.
Here's What We Know
All refurbished phones are thoroughly tested for defects in the battery, cameras, body, and screens. If repairs are needed, only genuine Google parts are used.
Unlike Samsung and Apple, Google does not automatically replace batteries, but all devices come pre-installed with the latest version of Android in a new eco-friendly plastic-free packaging that includes a charger. Each phone is covered by a 1-year limited warranty, free shipping and returns. Financing is also available at 0% per annum for up to 36 months.
Google offers discounts of up to 40% off the original price. For example, prices for refurbished phones are as follows: Pixel 6 - $339, Pixel 6 Pro - $539, Pixel 6a - $249, Pixel 7 - $429, and Pixel 7 Pro - $629.
The company plans to constantly update the range.
