Indie hits are as good as blockbusters: Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Factorio topped Steam's weekly sales chart

Every Tuesday we take an in-depth look at the Steam sales chart to understand the most pressing interests of gamers. We suggest not to abandon this tradition and take a look at how the situation changed during the week.

Here's What We Know

Perhaps not surprisingly, the main novelty of autumn 2024 - Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 - became the most profitable game of the week, surpassing even the permanent leader - the free-to-play shooter Counter-Strike 2. The new part of the series is very popular, gets good reviews, and its peak online in Steam was almost 500 thousand people.

The second place was unexpectedly taken by the famous simulator of construction of complex production lines Factorio, obviously, this was facilitated by the release of a major add-on Space Age, which is located on the third line.

It should be noted that for the third week in the Top 10 the co-operative indie hit Liar's Bar, in which creepy anthropomorphic animals play gambling games not for life but for death, has held its position.

Thanks to a big discount Hogwarts Legacy returned to the chart, but the leader of the previous two weeks DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO dropped to ninth place.

The full list of the ten most profitable Steam products from 22nd to 29th of October looks like this:

  • Call of Duty: Black Ops 6
