Xiaomi presents the SU7 Ultra electric sedan: 1,500 horsepower and 0 to 100 km/h in 2 seconds
Xiaomi has officially unveiled its new SU7 Ultra electric sedan, which is now available for customers in China. The car impresses with its 1500 horsepower and incredible acceleration: it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 2 seconds.
Here's What We Know
The SU7 Ultra's design is based on the standard SU7 sedan, but has improved aerodynamics. Sporty bumpers, a large rear spoiler and a wider body provide not only a stylish look but also improved stability on the road. An active rear diffuser contributes to the impressive 265 kg of downforce.
The interior combines luxury with performance-enhancing elements. The Alcantara leather seats are complemented by carbon fibre details that emphasise the vehicle's sporty character.
The SU7 Ultra is equipped with a 93.7 kWh Qilin 2.0 battery from CATL that supports fast charging, capable of charging from 10% to 80% in just 11 minutes.
The car is capable of reaching a top speed of 350 km/h, and its braking system uses carbon ceramic discs that provide excellent stopping power.
The price of the new sedan is 814,900 yuan (approximately USD 114,200).
Xiaomi's CEO is positioning the SU7 Ultra as an alternative to the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT, as it offers more power at a lower price. Pre-orders are already open and 3,680 bookings were recorded in the first 10 minutes.
Mass production is expected in March 2025.
