Garmin has announced a new beta update for its Fenix 7 and Fenix 7 Pro smartwatches.

Here's What We Know

Version 19.27, released less than a month after the previous 19.24, contains important updates, including a bug fix that sometimes caused the devices to shut down.

The new feature adds the ability to save routes and favourite places, making it easier to back up important data and restore it when needed. This enhancement allows users to save their routes and locations so that they can quickly access them at any time.

The update also fixes an incorrect prompt that appeared during FTP updates and eliminates errors in the automatic settings for marine units.

Among the important changes is an improvement in the sensitivity of the automatic ascent function when climbing.
