Garmin has introduced a new heart rate monitor, the HRM-Fit heart rate monitor, which has been recognised as one of the 200 best inventions of 2024 by TIME magazine.

Here's What We Know

This device is designed for active women who are looking for convenient solutions to measure their heart rate during exercise.

Unlike traditional chest straps, which can rub against the skin, HRM-Fit is comfortable to wear. It attaches to a sports bra through three attachment points, which reduces discomfort.

"Our goal was to work with the sports bra, not against it," says Julie Henne, product development specialist at Garmin.

The gadget has a smooth inner surface, which reduces the risk of skin rubbing. It also provides the same heart rate measurement accuracy as other Garmin heart rate monitors.
