The iconic Tumbler Batmobile from Nolan's Batman films can be purchased for $3 million

Batman fans can purchase an exclusive replica of the Tumbler Batmobile for $3 million created by Action Vehicle Engineering in collaboration with Warner Bros.

Here's What We Know

This is the first officially approved copy of the iconic car that appeared in the Christopher Nolan trilogy. The Tumbler, based on the car from the films, has a stainless steel tube automatic transmission and an integrated modern electronic control system.

The designers paid special attention to detail: the car has a dashboard that looks as similar as possible to the original on-screen and a two-seater interior lined in black alcantara. The materials used are Kevlar, carbon fibre and glass fibre to ensure strength and lightness. There is a choice between speed indicators in miles or kilometres per hour.

The Batmobile is fully functional, but it is not allowed to be driven on regular roads. The Tumbler weighs more than 5000 pounds (about 2.3 tonnes) and has a powerful imitation of a jet engine without flame.

Only ten copies are available for those who want to own this car, and each buyer must apply to participate in the distribution process.

The production of each car will take about 15 months after receiving the deposit from the customer.
