Kremlin, get ready! Ukraine will start using its own ballistic and cruise missiles by mid-2025
Ukraine has long been asking its allies to lift the ban on strikes by their long-range weapons against military facilities on Russian territory.
So far, this decision has not been made, so Ukraine's only option is to hit the enemy with its own weapons.
The Palianytsiadrone has proven its effectiveness by destroying several huge strategic-level arsenals. Of course, this is an excellent result, but the aggressor country has a huge number of bases, warehouses, airfields, barracks, logistics hubs, hangars and other military facilities. Ukraine desperately needs ballistic and cruise missiles to retaliate against the aggressor and it looks like the country will soon get them.
Here's What We Know
Oleksiy Petrov, director of the state-owned enterprise Spetstechnoexport, said that thanks to the removal of the monopoly on missile weapons development, Ukrainian arms makers have made a huge step in developing their own ballistic and cruise missiles. According to his estimates, by the middle of 2025, the first samples will be ready for use in real combat conditions.
Flight tests of new samples of Ukrainian missiles have already taken place and Oleksiy Petrov claims that they were successful.
Of course, there is still no information about the technical characteristics of Ukrainian long-range missiles, but there is no doubt that the country, which for many years has been developing and selling first-class rocket engines for spacecraft, is capable of building its own ballistic missile.
