Three hours of high quality staged scenes: Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will retain the cinematography of the original films
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be released in a month. The game from Bethesda and MachineGames studio is based on the famous films about the charismatic archaeologist and adventurer, which are full of spectacular scenes, colourful chases, large-scale destruction and other bright effects.
Executive producer of the game Todd Howard said that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will fully correspond to the cinematic nature of the films.
Here's What We Know
During an interview with Rolling Stone, Bethesda CEO said that players will see more than three hours of high-quality cinematic clips while playing Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, which corresponds to the timing of a full film.
From the previously shown trailers we can conclude that these will be really spectacular and memorable action scenes, in which the cameras will switch to third-person view and show Indiana Jones' crazy stunts and unbelievable situations he will get into.
Todd Howard stressed that when working with such a famous franchise as Indiana Jones, he doesn't think it's right to copy all its recognisable features, but instead it's necessary to interestingly convey the atmosphere of the setting, the charisma of the key characters and add something new. As an example of this approach Howard cited his work on the Fallout series, which just takes the games as a basis and shows its own story based on them.
When We Can Expect It
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be released on 9 December on PC and Xbox Series X|S, including Game Pass, and the game will be available on PlayStation 5 in spring 2025.
