Samsung releases security update for Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra in the US
Samsung has announced a new security update for its flagship Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra models.

The update includes the latest security patch dated 1 November 2024.
The first update for the Galaxy S23 was released in the US for carrier-locked models, but should soon be available for unlocked versions in other markets. You can identify the November update by the build number S911xSQS5CXI8.
Although the new update does not contain any significant functional changes, it does improve device security. Samsung is currently focused on preparing the One UI 7.0 beta programme for the Galaxy S23 and other compatible devices. At the time of publication, the company has not yet released details about the security fixes, but it is expected to do so by the end of the week.
How To Switch It On
In order to install the update, go to Settings, select Software Update, and click Download & Install.
