Don't Nod employees to strike in Paris, demanding that management stop layoffs and take people's opinions into account

We wrote that Don't Nod is preparing to lay off people and has frozen two unannounced projects. And now the developers have announced a protest.

Here's What We Know

The strike will take place on 8 November at 14:00 in Paris near Don't Nod's headquarters.

The employees put forward a number of demands, including:

  • For the studio to abandon the layoff plan
  • That employees have a say in decision-making in the company
  • That Don't Nod CEO Oscar Gilbert be present at the negotiations.

Don't Nod employees also published an open letter about the problems. They stated that the management justified the layoff plan by the economic context, without looking at their own shortcomings and without taking responsibility.

We want to save the company, but not at the cost of unjustified layoffs or worsening working conditions
