This week, Apple has made spare parts and repair tools for iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max available.

Here's What We Know

Repair parts for the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max are available through the self-service store in the United States and several European countries, just seven weeks after the devices' launch.

Parts that can be repaired include the display, battery, rear camera, TrueDepth camera for Face ID, rear glass, speakers, and microphone. For each iPhone model, a toolkit is available for 7-day rental, with a rental price of $49 in the US.

Apple's self-service programme, launched in 2022, allows users to get original spare parts and repair manuals for iPhones, Macs and other devices. It is intended for those with experience in repairing equipment and contains warnings about potential safety risks.
