It's official: Disney has revealed the premiere date for the second season of Andor's highly-acclaimed series based on the Star Wars universe
The Andor series has become perhaps the most successful Star Wars media project of the last many years. The authors showed the familiar franchise from an unusual side, without Jedi, Sith and other familiar elements, offering the audience a real war drama.
The first season of Andor was warmly received by the public and critics and ended in November 2022. It is known that the second season is being worked on, but the authors did not reveal the date of its premiere.
Here's What We Know
Unexpectedly, a poster for the second season of the Andor series was published on the Disney+ mobile app with the message that the continuation of the story will be released on 22 April 2025. Shortly after the poster was published, the premiere date was duplicated on the official Star Wars social media accounts.

If Disney sticks to its usual schedule of shows, two episodes will be presented on that day, and then episodes will be released at weekly intervals thereafter.
The series is a prequel to the feature film "Outcast One: Star Wars. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) and tells about the life of Cassian Andor, who fatefully joined the Rebels in their fight against the Empire.
