At the D23 event in Brazil, Disney Media Holdings unveiled the first footage of the third instalment of James Cameron's Avatar saga.
Here's What We Know
It's no secret that James Cameron is working on several parts of Avatar at once and plans to create a large-scale franchise.
The third film will be called Fire and Ash (Avatar: Fire and Ash), which will symbolise the destructive influence of violence in all its manifestations.
At D23, Disney presented five concept arts of Avatar 3, which depict beautiful and picturesque landscapes of Pandora, representatives of the Na'vi people (Na'vi) and some huge aircraft, which may be of organic origin.
The first Avatar was released in 2009 and is still the highest-grossing film in history, while the sequel Avatar: The Way of Water will be released in December 2022 and is the third highest-grossing film ever.
