It's just like the films: Bethesda held an extensive gameplay demonstration of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
Bethesda and MachineGames presented a detailed gameplay video of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle action-adventure game with comments of gamedirector Pete Ward.
Here's What We Know
Viewers were shown 14 minutes of gameplay, during which you can see the basic gameplay mechanics. As in the cult films from Lucasfilm, archaeologist and adventurer Indiana Jones will visit many dangerous places. In the game from MachineGames he will try to solve the mystery of the Great Circle - a complex of several temples located in different parts of the world and forming a circle. To achieve his goal, the hero is forced to find solutions to complex puzzles, clash with soldiers of the Third Reich, collect information, take photos and compare facts, and at the same time he repeatedly finds himself on the verge of life and death.
Players will have many opportunities: in battle and to overcome obstacles you can use a whip, Jones' fists will convince opponents of his rightness, and if the situation becomes acute - the hero can use a revolver, but ammunition for him will always be limited.
A smart decision of the developers is the fact that during the most spectacular and dynamic scenes the camera switches to the third-person view, which adds additional cinematography to the game.
In general, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle creates an impression of an interesting project, which will appeal to fans of adventure games and, of course, fans of the franchise.
When We Can Expect It
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be released on 9 December on PC and Xbox Series X|S, including Game Pass, and the game will be available on PlayStation 5 in spring 2025.
