China presents the latest Caihong-7 drone with a "flying wing" design
The Chinese defence industry has demonstrated the Caihong-7 (CH-7) heavy drone, which is based on the flying wing scheme.

The China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) has unveiled a new strategic drone, the Caihong-7, which is estimated to be designed to penetrate enemy air defences and conduct rear-guard strikes.
The drone was spotted on the runway of Taizhou's airfield, which made it possible to estimate its dimensions: its wingspan is about 26 metres and its length is about 10 metres.
The drone has a maximum take-off weight of 10,000 kg and a top speed of 926 km/h. It is capable of flying for up to 15 hours, although information on the type of engine and payload has not yet been disclosed.
The Caihong-7 is part of an effort to upgrade and expand the strategic drone fleet of the People's Liberation Army of China.
In the context of this development, it is worth mentioning the April photo of a Xian H-6MW bomber with a WZ-8 supersonic drone that appeared on Chinese social media, which only confirmed the country's ambitions to create advanced unmanned technologies for military purposes.
