In honour of the 30th anniversary of the Warcraft franchise, Blizzard has announced and immediately released the Warcraft Remastered Battle Chest compilation.

Here's What We Know

The American studio offers everyone to buy remasters of the cult strategies Warcraft I and Warcraft II, which forever changed the RTS genre and laid the foundations of one of the most popular franchises.

The Warcraft Remastered Battle Chest compilation includes:

  • Warcraft I: Remastered,
  • Warcraft II: Remastered,
  • Warcraft III: Reforged (with Spoils of War Edition bonuses),
  • Warcraft: Orcs & Humans,
  • Warcraft II.

Remasters of the first two instalments offer improved graphics, modern controls, increased resolution, and the ability to switch in real-time between the updated and classic views.

The studio has also released a major update to the scandalous 4GB remaster of Warcraft III: Reforged. The game is now labelled as Warcraft III: Reforged 2.0 and features an improved interface, tweaked locations, enhanced graphics and other improvements.

Warcraft Remastered Battle Chest can be purchased from Battle.net for $39.99, while Warcraft I and II remasters cost $9.99 each.
