A new feature on Snapchat will allow parents to keep track of their children's movements

Snapchat has unveiled a new feature on its app that allows parents to track the real-time location of their children.

Here's What We Know

The feature is available in the Family Centre section, which provides tools and resources for parents. Parents can now send a request to their children asking them to share their location, and they can also share their location themselves.

Snapchat has also introduced travel notifications, allowing parents to receive alerts when their children arrive or leave certain locations such as home, school or gym.

However, for iPhone users, Apple offers a more secure way to share location through its Locator app, which allows parents to see their children's location with their consent and receive notifications when they arrive and leave certain locations.
