A new game from the creators of The Last of Us is in development from 2020: Sony has given Naughty Dog full creative freedom
Naughty Dog's creative director Neil Druckmann took part in the Jewish Visionaries in Gaming online event, where he shared information about his new game.
Here's What We Know
Unfortunately, the podcast was closed, but Druckmann's main talking points are circulating online.
He did not reveal either the name or the theme of the game, but he told that active development continues from 2020. Recall, this is the year when The Last of Us Part II was released and apparently Naughty Dog immediately started the next project.
The developer emphasised that Sony gave his team full creative freedom and does not interfere in the process. However, only the Japanese company decides when and under what circumstances the novelty from the famous studio will be presented and Druckmann is forbidden to reveal specific information about the game.
Let's dream: according to rumours, either PlayStation Showcase or State of Play will take place in December, and it would be cool if Sony presented a new game from Naughty Dog there, but theoretically it could also happen at The Game Awards.
