A great gift for RTS fans: the developers of Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition are giving away three major add-ons
Remake of the famous historical strategy Age of Empires II turned five years old and in honour of this event the developers from Forgotten Empire prepared a surprise for the fans of the game.
Here's What We Know
The studio announced that all owners of Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition will automatically receive three add-ons - Lords of the West, Dawn of the Dukes and Dynasties of India. The distribution is not limited in time, so we can say that the named DLCs are now included in the standard edition of the updated strategy.
Starting today, #AgeofEmpiresIIDE offers an even greater experience for new players! All future purchases of the base game now include:

In honour of the anniversary, the developers also shared some interesting information about the development of Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition.
Since release, the game has received:
- 7 DLC and 3 sets of animated icons;
- 10 civilisations for skirmish and ranked play;
- 3 civilisations in the Chronicles: Battle for Greece add-on;
- 16 campaigns;
- 19 scenarios in Victors & Vanquished;
- 21 scenarios in Chronicles: Battle for Greece;
- several game modes - Empire Wars, Battle Royale and D3.
Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition is available on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), Xbox One and Xbox Series.
