Payday 3 authors will invest much less in the game than planned: it's all about the release failure

The release of Payday 3 was plagued by problems with servers and a lack of content. Therefore, the game became a real failure for the authors and Starbreeze invested less in the game during its second year of life.

In the financial report, Starbreeze's management announced that it would reduce the Payday 3 team and invest significantly less in the project.
The studio has already released a lot of updates for the game and the overall situation is much better now, but there is a feeling that Starbreeze is already looking for new ideas for future games and will not invest as much in Payday 3 as originally planned.
