Bloomberg: Apple is working on its own smart TV

Apple is the market leader in smartphones, tablets, computers and other gadgets. But it turns out that the American manufacturer plans to come out with another offer.

In his weekly Power On news column, Bloomberg insider and journalist Mark Gurman shared information that Apple is working on its own smart TV.

Gurman did not disclose details, but according to his data Apple Smart-TV will be part of the system "smart home". Recall, it recently became known that the Apple has big plans for the smart home: the company will expand its use of AI and open up its ecosystem to third-party gadgets to unite all home devices in a single ecosystem, and we are talking even about gadgets from other manufacturers. One of the main components will be a "smart display", which will increase control over the entire home infrastructure and help to manage devices, switch media content and perform other actions.

Gurman noted that the development of the TV is at a very early stage and it could be several years before it is released, but the development from Apple will surely become a serious competitor for the leading TV manufacturers.
