Garmin releases a major update for Fenix 8, Enduro 3 and Fenix E with new features and bug fixes.
Here's What We Know
The current beta version of firmware 12.19 includes the new Garmin Reference Point app, which provides additional navigation options.
The update also fixes issues with settings not being saved after the devices were turned off and ensures that all settings are applied correctly upon resumption. In addition, error messaging for Outdoor Maps+ has been improved and improvements to the active app indicator on the watch faces have been added.
Beta version 12.19 includes more than 148 changes, including 15 fixes for bugs in previous versions of the software.
The update also activates navigation guidance and optimises device performance.
The exact release date of the stable update is not yet known, but the beta version is already available for testing.
