Fitbit is testing a new AI-powered Sleep Labs feature to analyse sleep with a daily log and personalised advice

Fitbit is testing a new feature called "Sleep Labs" to help users better understand their sleep habits.

Here's What We Know

To participate, you need to activate the "Sleep Insights and Tips" section in the app settings. However, the feature is not yet available to all users in Fitbit Labs.

Users must fill out a daily sleep log by answering a short survey consisting of several questions and one open-ended question about factors that may have affected their sleep. This allows the artificial intelligence model to create a "daily summary" that appears on the sleep data screen and in the Today tab.

After analysing the collected data, the user receives tips for improving sleep and personalised tasks based on their daily entries. In addition, after four completed logs, the system summarises the week and provides recommendations for improving sleep.
