According to Apple analyst Jeff Pugh, the new iPhone 17 Air may become the thinnest iPhone and surpass the iPhone 6, which is 6.9 mm thick.
Here's What We Know
The thickness of the new device is expected to be less than 6 mm. This will make it significantly thinner than current models, including the iPhone 16, which is 7.8 mm thick.
Although some users had hoped for an even thinner design, technical limitations, including the size of the battery, prevent the device from being even thinner.
Other rumours suggest that the iPhone 17 Air will have a 6.6-inch display, an A19 chip, a single 48MP camera, and 8GB of RAM.
The novelty will be presented in September 2025.
