Vivo will soon expand its X200 flagship lineup with new models featuring Snapdragon and Dimensity chips
Last month, Vivo unveiled its new flagship smartphones Vivo X200, X200 Pro and X200 Pro Mini in China, which are powered by the new Dimensity 9400 chip. The company is expected to release even more advanced models in the X200 series in a few months.
Here's What We Know
According to the latest insider reports, the company will launch the Vivo X200 Ultra with Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and the Vivo X200S with Dimensity 9400 Plus chip in April or May 2025. The latter will feature a large flat LTPS OLED screen with 1.5K resolution, which suggests a size larger than 6.67 inches. There will be a triple camera on the back with a 50 MP main sensor and a periscopic telephoto lens camera. A high-capacity silicon battery, improved dust and water resistance, and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner are also expected.
Compared to the X200, the X200S will get a new chip and minor improvements. The X200S will probably make its official debut at the same time as the X200 Ultra. No word yet on plans to release "S" versions of the X200 Pro Mini and X200 Pro.
