Reconnaissance drones, HIMARS shells and armoured vehicles: US announces new $275m military aid package for Ukraine

The US government has announced a new military aid package for Ukraine, which will be the seventieth.

Here's What We Know

Ukraine will receive arms worth $275 million. The list will include:

• ammunition for HIMARS MLRS (including ATACMS);
• 155-mm and 105-mm artillery ammunition;
• 60mm and 81mm mortar rounds;
• unmanned aerial systems;
• tube-launched, optically tracked and wire-guided (TOW) missiles;
• Javelin and AT-4 anti-tank systems;
• small arms and ammunition;
• blasting equipment and ammunition;
• chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defence equipment;
• spare parts, support equipment, services, training and transport.

All the above equipment and weapons will be supplied from the warehouses of the US Department of Defence, so they will arrive in Ukraine as soon as possible.
