"We're cooking up something amazing!" - GTA VI developers make a big announcement
Grand Theft Auto VI is undoubtedly the most anticipated game of 2025, and further proof of this was the corresponding award at the Golden Joystick Awards 2024, the ceremony of which took place yesterday.
Here's What We Know
During the thank you speech, Rockstar representative stated that the famous studio is preparing "absolutely mind-blowing things" (absolutely mind-blowing things).
Unfortunately, he didn't share any details, but promised that gamers will learn more about GTA VI soon:
An incredible amount of people are doing something amazing in Grand Theft Auto 6. Something absolutely amazing. So it's a real honour to be able to come here and accept this award on behalf of everyone. I wish there were more of us here. But thank you all so much, and yes - more news to come.
As a reminder, the announcement trailer for GTA VI was unveiled in December 2023 and some gamers are speculating that it will be in the last month of this year that Rockstar will unveil the new trailer.
When We Can Expect It
Grand Theft Auto is expected to release in autumn 2025 on PS5 and Xbox Series.
