The model of attack drones that Germany will transfer to Ukraine has become known and it is not a "mini-Taurus"

A few days ago, it was reported that the German company Media: German company Helsing will supply Ukraine with 4,000 advanced kamikaze drones called "mini-Taurus" advanced kamikaze drones. The media indicated that these could be HX-2 Karma drones, which are called "mini-Taurus" in expert circles, but according to the new information this is not true.

Here's What We Know

The Spiegel publication reported that the AFU will receive from Germany an improved version of the simpler and cheaper AQ100 Bayonet kamikaze drones from the American manufacturer Terminal Autonomy.

These will be wooden UAVs that visually resemble an aeroplane. The Helsing company will equip them with an artificial intelligence system that will allow the drones to independently strike objects marked by the operator, rendering enemy REBs virtually useless.

The manufacturer's website positions the AQ 100 Bayonet drone as a "low-cost barrage munition" capable of carrying 4.5kg of explosives. The UAV has a claimed speed of up to 144 kilometres per hour and a range of 150 kilometres.

These will be the first attack drones to be handed over by Germany. Prior to this, only reconnaissance drones were supplied to Ukraine.

It is known that the total number of drones - 4000 pieces, the first batch will appear on the battlefield in December.
