Media: OpenAI wants to launch its own browser to boost its position in competition with Google

OpenAI, the developer of AI assistant ChatGPT, continues to realise its ambitious plans.

Here's What We Know

According to Information portal, OpenAI is seriously considering creating its own browser with integrated ChatGPT. It is claimed that for this purpose the company held talks with such developers as Conde Nast, Redfin, Eventbrite and Priceline.

In this way, OpenAI plans to strengthen its competition with Google and this could be the company's next step after adding its own search engine to ChatGPT.

The US AI developer is also reportedly in talks with Samsung, one of Google's biggest business partners. Obviously, OpenAI has something to interest the South Korean manufacturer - remember, the Americans are already working closely with Apple and thanks to this it became possible to launch the Apple Intelligence platform on new iPhone models.
