The authors of The Invincible announced an unusual action-RPG Dante's Ring, in which players will confront volcanoes

Polish studio Starward Industries, founded by former employees of CD Projekt RED, released a sci-fi adventure game The Invincible based on Stanislav Lem's novel of the same name in 2023.

The independent company wastes no time and has already announced its new and no less unusual game Dante's Ring.

Here's What We Know

Poles describe Dante's Ring as an action-RPG, in which the player does not fight with characters, but helps them. The protagonist will set out to explore a chain of volcanoes that seemed dormant, but suddenly they begin to erupt. Protagonist must save as many lives as possible and not die himself among the lava flows, raging fires and earthquakes.

The hero has equipment, made in the style of retrofuturism and remarkable transport, shown in the trailer. The player needs to collect resources and competently dispose of them to achieve goals. Also gamers are expected moral dilemmas and the need to make decisions that will affect the plot.

When We Can Expect It

Dante's Ring will be released in Steam Early Access in 2025.
