UAV evolution: Ukrainian reconnaissance drone Dovbush T10 can now carry six FPV drones (video)
Ukrainian engineers have to constantly modify drones to adapt them to the rapid changes on the battlefield.
The Dovbush T10 UAV (Dovbush T10) has been in serial production since December 2022, but now it has received significant improvements.
Here's What We Know
Radio technology specialist and well-known volunteer Sergei "Flash" Beskrestnov shared a video from field tests of the improved Dovbush T10 model.
Now this drone, in addition to reconnaissance functions, can carry up to six FPV drones. The UAV uses an inertial navigation system combined with GPS/GLONASS, which allows it to operate even in signal jamming conditions.
It should be noted that the advanced FPV drone mounting system simplifies and speeds up its deployment and allows operators to instantly take control of the drone and start executing the combat mission.
According to the Army Recognition portal, the Dovbush T10 is equipped with artificial intelligence-based software and high-precision optical and infrared sensors. A secure long-range communications system allows real-time data and video to be transmitted to ground operators.
