Huawei Watch GT 5 receives international update with map improvements and new features

Huawei has started releasing an international update for the Huawei Watch GT 5 smartwatch, which received version 5.0.0.125.

Here's What We Know

The new firmware version 5.0.0.125 brings several important updates, including optimisation of offline mapping functions and improved system stability. In addition, support for Brazilian Portuguese for voice guidance during training has been added.

The Notification Centre has also received an update with new and improved parameter descriptions available via the information icon.

However, one important feature that is included in the update for the Watch GT 5 Pro model is missing from this release - protection against false alarms while playing golf. The update is available through the Huawei Health app and is rolling out in stages.
