Apple may switch to OLED screens for MacBook Pro by 2026

According to analysts, Apple plans to introduce OLED screens in its MacBook Pro line by 2026 or 2027.

Here's What We Know

According to the latest TrendForce report, Apple is already actively working on the introduction of OLED screens and encourages its suppliers to increase investments in the production of OLED panels for laptops.

OLED panels have significant advantages over LED displays. They provide deep blacks due to the ability to darken each pixel, which results in high contrast and improved HDR quality.

Fast response times make these screens attractive to gamers. However, OLEDs also have disadvantages, including the risk of burn-in when working with static images for long periods of time and lower brightness compared to mini LED panels.
