We wrote that Sony is rumoured to be working on a full-fledged portable console that can run games from PlayStation 5. Now this news has been confirmed by a well-known insider.
Here's What We Know
Tom Henderson said that PlayStation is in the early stages of developing a full-fledged portable console. The development began after the release of the PlayStation Portal portable streaming console, which exceeded Sony's expectations.
As a reminder, Sony aims to compete with Nintendo, as well as any potential Xbox portable device.
However, the launch of Sony's portable console is still many years away, and the company may still decide not to release it. Therefore, for now, we can only believe that the Japanese giant will release the PSP 2.
