YouTube restores iOS Share Sheet support for iPhone video uploads

YouTube is once again allowing you to upload videos directly from your iPhone thanks to its iOS Share Sheet integration.

Here's What We Know

This week, YouTube re-introduced the ability to share videos from Photos and other video apps to the platform, after several years of not having this feature.

Previously, video uploads via Share Sheet were available, but this option was removed in 2018.

With the new integration, videos can be automatically imported to YouTube, where they can be edited and then uploaded as YouTube Shorts. In order to use this feature, you need to update the YouTube app to version 19.47.7, which was released the day before, although the new feature was not mentioned in the updates.
